The blue sky spread out calmly in this early morning, but the weather got worse and worse. When I came to the slope along Han-no-ki High Speed Pair, the fine snow was falling down, but it changed into the sleet. People from Osaka Pref. posed me with smiles even in the rain.

Although the cold had abated, the groomed slope along Han-no-ki High Speed Pair was nicely firm and in good condition. In the lower part, it was raining already…. As I skied down, the slope got firmer, but edges of my skis worked well, so I could ski more comfortably than I expected.

In Champion, the run was also flat and firm well. Because it was forecast to be rainy on a weekday, the slope was very quiet and I could ski widely in Champion and Shirakaba. The wind blew the rain and sleet against me, so I felt much colder than the temperature.

In the bottom area such as Oya-no-hara and Karamatsu, the wind and rain got abating. These runs were also flat and nicely firm. The damp snow was good to ski unexpectedly and I found some experts who moved from the upper part making skillful turns among beginners.
