Tsugaike Kogen / ◎320cm / Snowy2017.Feb.09

16020901_tsugaikeThe snow started to fall from the morning and when I got off the gondola dry snow was falling. The wind was blowing weakly but I didn’t felt that cold. The run of Tsuga-no-mori was groomed beautifully and nicely firm. 1 cm dry fresh snow covered the run and it was nice to ski there.

16020902_tsugaikeThe run along Han-no-ki High Speed Lift was also flat and in a powdery condition. Many people were taking the gondola or Han-no-ki No.3 Quad instead of skiing at Tsuga-no-mori or the run along Han-no-ki High Speed Lift.

16020903_tsugaikeIt’s not surprising because the runs of along Han-no-ki No.3 Quad and the last part of Han-no-ki were nicely firm and it was very easy to ski. An advanced Alpine snowboarder ran down the steep slope along Han-no-ki No.3 Quad with very sharp turns.

16020904_tsugaikeMaruyama was groomed very wide and flat. The run was nicely firm and in a powdery condition. The slopes at the bottom area, like Oya-no-hara and Kane-no-naru-oka, were also groomed nicely firm and I could ski comfortably.
