It had been snowing heavily for past 2 days, however, the sun came out this morning. A skier from Shizuoka told me, “I always ski in Happo. Yesterday and today, I came to Tsugaike for the first time in a long time. It’s great because I can enjoy both powder and groomed snow!” The groomed slope of Tsuga-no-mori was in so good condition that people were giving cheers.

Whole Han-no-ki Slope was flat and wide with powder snow. It was also great. I would like to climb up by Gondola from Snow Square (intermediate station) in the morning like this.

Champion Slope was in shadow and snowflakes were dancing and twirling. Two women who are advanced snowboarders gave me the watchword, “I always enjoy your reports.” They expressed their condition with a broad smile. Also, they posed of Syachihoko and Sushi-zanmai for pictures (haha).

A promotional video of OGASAKA SKI was being shot at flat steep slope. Magnificent casts were joining. Mr. Takao Maruyama, who won second prize in the men’s technical all-round competition last year was at the top of the formation. Two women behind him were Ms. Yui Sunohara, who got third prize and Ms. Kaori Akamatsu, who got ninth prize in the women’s technical all-round competition. Students belonging to the basic ski club at Shinshu University who were there by chance were fascinated by them and saying “We don’t want to ski down after they have skied down” with smiling.
