The snow was falling since yesterday and there were about 25 cm wet fresh snow at the bottom. The roads were covered with the snow and the snow removal work was in progress at Central Parking and the Panorama Bridge. When I climbed up by gondola the wind became stronger near Uma-no-se and the snowflakes became smaller.

The amount of the fresh snow was 45cm at the bottom part of Tsuga-no-mori and it was lighter than I had expected. The run along Han-no-ki High-Speed Pair was groomed well and covered with 30 cm fresh snow. I skied down quickly to the steep slope along Han-no-ki No.3 Quad to enjoy the powder snow.

The amount of the fresh snow was 35-40cm and it was enough to enjoy the feel of floating. After the branch off of Sawa and One the fresh snow was 10cm and I could make the turns smoothly on the flat and wide slope.

30 cm fresh snow covered the run of Maruyama. The run was groomed only for a grooming vehicle wide along Maruyama No.1 Quad. The many fresh snow remained at the skier’s left. The snowboarder was stuck on the gentle run of the bottom of Maruyama.
