The blue sky which spread out in the early morning had been covered with thick clouds at around 8:00 a.m. In the upper areas, the snow remained in good condition as well. I found experts skiing and snowboarding with high speed on the nicely-firm groomed slope of Tsuga-no-mori.

The run along Han-no-ki High Speed Pair was also flat and nice. The lower part of Han-no-ki was a little harder, but edges of my skis worked well, so I could ski comfortably from the top to bottom. The high clouds did not hide the peaks and we could see the panoramic view of mountains.

In Shirakaba, “Tsugaike Junior Cup SG Competition” has been held from Feb. 3 (Fri) to Feb. 5 (Sun). At the goal area, junior skiers, coaches and parents were cheering the participants. By the way, Early Morning Operation in Shirakaba and Karamatsu will be held on Feb. 12 (Sun) and it is the last in this season.

I met a lot of families in Oya-no-hara and Karamatsu. A family from Osaka posed me and said that they were enjoying snowboarding for totally 3 days! The slopes of Oya-no-hara and Karamatsu were flat and nicely firm.
