Tsugaike Kogen / ◎235cm / Snowy2017.Jan.14

16011401_tsugaikeThanks to the heavy snowfall, we had much snow this morning as well. However, it was blowing a strong wind in the middle and upper parts. Because of such a weather, people tended to go to Han-no-ki without waiting for opening of Tsuga No.2 Pair.

16011402_tsugaikeThe steep slope of Han-no-ki had as much snow as Tsuga-no-mori (40cm) and it was over my knees in the ungroomed areas. People got excited with the fluffy snow and they were enjoying as they like.

16011403_tsugaikeThe groomed slope was nicely soft and covered with 5-10cm fresh snow. I found experts mainly in the early morning, but more and more beginners and families were coming at around 9:30 a.m. Because it was groomy and thickly foggy, so the slope of Shirakaba was illuminated.

16011404_tsugaikeThe slopes of Oya-no-hara and Kane-no-naru-oka were also soft and in fine condition. After that, it blew a strong wind sometimes as well, so the gondola stopped for a while.
