The amount of snowfall from last night was 80 cm at Tsuga-no-mori and total amount of snow is over 200 cm! The gondola started operation on time. But Tsuga No.2 Pair and Han-no-ki High Speed pair were delayed because of mechanical trouble and inspection.

So the people gathered to Han-no-ki this morning. There were new snow of the waist height at skier’s right of steep slope of mid Han-no-ki. There were 15-40 cm of fresh snow on groomed area at skier’s left. The experts were rush into the powder snow straightly and shouting with joy.

But without speed many people were stuck because of deep snow. This snowboarder from Hakuba was struggling to get out of snow but he was smiling with joy.

The last part of Han-no-ki was groomed widely and covered with 10 cm fresh snow. So I could make the curving turns easily. Maruyma area was groomed for 1 car width and 60 cm of fresh snow was remained on other area. The groomed run of Karamatsu and Oya-no-hara were beginners friendly condition.
