It had snowed since yesterday, but when the ski area opened at 8:00 a.m., the snow became weaker and the sun was shining. At the upper part of ski area there were over 30cm of fresh snow, so the condition of the trails became much better. And along the Han-no-ki High-Speed Pair, the snow was moderately soft and powdery.

At the upper part of Tsuga-no-mori, the strong wind blew and gusts of snow swirled up from the ground. But the groomed area was expanded, and I saw the tight and flat slopes. At non-groomed area, the fresh snow was about 35cm, and especially along Tsuga No.1 Pair, I saw a lot of fresh snow.

The middle and bottom parts of Han-no-ki were groomed and they were moderately soft. But as of 9:00 a.m., the steep slope has already become rugged. Visitors from Shizuoka said they have left for at 3:00 a.m. But it was worth their getting up early!

From yesterday, it’s available to ski along Tsugaike No.1 Pair. At the middle of ski area, like here and Shirakaba, the fresh snow was about 30cm, and there were no bushes. The number of visitors was increasing more and more, and before 10:00 a.m., Central Parking and Champion Slopes Parking were full.
