The sky was covered with thin clouds and we had a calm morning with the soft sunlight. The slope along Han-no-ki High Speed Pair was finely groomed and I could feel a soft touch of powdery snow. A couple from Azumino City, Nagano gave me the watchword, “We always enjoy your reports!”

The middle and lower parts of Han-no-ki were open yesterday and they were groomed today. However, the steep slope along Han-no-ki No.3 Quad had just thin snow. The lower part toward the intermediate station of the gondola got covered with snow today, so we could ski down to the station.

Maruyama No.1 Quad will open today! It was still in preparation at 9:00 a.m, but the slope of Maruyama was groomed. Shirakaba Quad was also started the operation. There were still bushes in Shirakaba.

Oya-no-hara was also open yesterday and it was crowded with groups of families and kids, so the slope got rough already. Tsugaike No.1 Pair was open as well today. At 9:30 a.m, there was a long line in front of the mountain-foot station of the gondola.
