Tsugaike Kogen / △80cm / Rainy2016.Dec.27
We had a heavy rain this morning and a fog set in sometimes. A man who I met in the gondola lift said, “It’s raining…”, with a bitter smile. In spite of the bad weather, the gondola started the operation 10 minutes earlier than usual and people skied into the slope one after another.
[Tsuga-no-mori]
The slope of Tsuga-no-mori was damp, but nicely soft and flat. We could ski down comfortably except for the beginning part where the ground was exposed. The run along Han-no-ki High Speed Pair was also groomed and soft.
[Han-no-ki]
The edges of my skies worked well today, so I could make turn easily. However, when I skied into very damp parts, I was obliged to slow down. By the way, I hardly found bushes in Han-no-ki.

The heavy rain changed into a drizzle after that, but I felt much colder than the temperature because of the wet jacket. I met many kids, students and groups today and I heard some voices of joy.
