Tsugaike Kogen / △75cm / Snowy2016.Dec.14
It was warm yesterday because of the low pressure on the south part from Japan, but the weather changes into the witry pattern. It gets colder and colder, bringing damp snow to the mountain foot around 7:30 a.m. this morning. In the upper part of the ski area, dry fine snow was falling with a strong wind.
[Tsuga-no-mori]
The snow fallen was blew away soon by the strong wind in Tsuga-no-mori and the begining part was a little hard. The middle part was nicely firm and covered with 3cm fresh snow. A couple from Shiga Pref. gave me a happy word, “We always enjoy your reports! So glad to see you from Snownavi!”

The slope along Han-no-ki High Speed Pair was icy because the snow was frozen after melting in the last noon. The snow was blew away here as well, so the snowfall was less than we expected. The official temperature was -1.4℃, but it became cold and my hands holding a camera got numb soon.

I met only a few people this morning. The slope was hard but good for high-speed skiing, so experts showed me a skillful turns. Around 10:00 a.m. when I climbed down to the parking area, it was snowing heavily already.
