We had the soft sunlight and blue sky just after the opening. When I climbed up to the slope along Han-no-ki High Speed Pair, a fresh ski run jumped into my eyes. The temperature was not so low, -1.5 degrees, and the snow was a little damp, but it was great pleasure to making the first ski track on it.

The slope was gloomed well and soft. After 8:40 a.m, the sun went behind the clouds and it became foggy. The snow started to fall as well, but no wind was blowing, so it did not matter for our sight.

The upper part of Tsuga-no-mori was veiled with thick fog. The central part of the slope was gloomed and flat, so experts were going down with high speed. The ungloomed areas on the sides were a little bumpy and coverd with 7cm fresh snow. The snow was not powdery, but I could ski down comfortably.

A man from Shizuoka who come snowboarding to Tsugaike every year gave me the watchword, “I always enjoy your reports!” By the way, the parking area in front of the intermediate station of the gondola was closed already. Chuo Parking Area near the moutain foot station and the parking area in the foot of Champion area are available now.
