Sugadaira Kogen / ◎140cm / Sunny & Cloudy2022.Mar.15

22031501_sugadaira“Separate Snowboard Camp” is held on Mar. 15 (Tue) and Mar. 16 (Wed) now. This lesson is recommended for intermediates and experts and given by the instructor of Separate Snowboard, SiN. Today, 6 people joined this lesson and they learned about the basic riding in the snow park, jumping and tricks.

22031502_sugadairaThe groomed slopes of GO-no-hara (Photo), Champion and Mt Omatsu were nicely firm and in corn snow condition. The participants (4th Photo) were practicing for the competitions here, so the slopes were already covered with a lot of ski tracks at around 8:30 a.m. By the way, it is decided that 6 courses including GO-no-hara in Pinebeak and 4 courses in Taro Area will be open from Apr. 1 (Fri) to Apr. 3 (Sun) specially thanks to this good snow!

22031503_sugadairaThe corn snow was nicely compacted and the slope was nicely melted in Mt. Omatsu Fujimi (Photo). This area was quiet this early morning, so I could enjoy wide turns comfortably. We could see the amazing view of the Northern Alps and sea of clouds from the top station of Omatsu No.5 Pair Lift.

22031504_sugadairaIn Mt. Omatsu SAJ Official Grand Prix, the last day of “2022 FIS Sugadaira Kogen Macearth Pinebeak Cup & The 88th Nagano Ski Competition” was held and the men’s slalom event started at 8:00 a.m. The lifts were open earlier than usual and the participants were warming up in Champion, Mt.
