The hazy blue sky typical at the beginning of the spring spread over us this morning. We could see the panoramic views of Sugadaira Pinebeak, the Northern Alps, Mt. Myoko and Mt. Yarigatake from the top station of Oku Davos No.1 Triple (Photo). Snowcat Tour (Check the report on Jan. 22 here) heading to Mt. Neko will be available until Mar. 27 (Sun).
[Oku Davos No.1 Expert Course]
An instructor of Mr. Yonezawa Shogo Pro Ski School gave me a greeting and said, “Hi, Snownavi! My son is so happy because he appeared in the report on Feb. 21 (Mon).” Also, he talked, “We have such a lot of snow this winter, so I would like many people to visit here and to enjoy riding!”
[Oku Davos No.1 Beginner Course]
I met 3 people from Kanagawa Prefecture and they said, “We come riding from yesterday with our colleagues. It has been good these days! We just worry about the hard slopes of the morning….” The groomed slope of Oku Davos No.1 Beginner Course (Photo) was nicely firm. The surface started to get melted at around 9:00 a.m, so the edges of my skis worked well.

It was very warm in an hour from the opening time because of the strong sunlight. The groomed slopes of Oku Davos No.3 Course (Photo), Oku Davos Expert Course and Oku Davos Intermediate Course were nicely firm and the surface was a little wet. I saw groups of the students on their school trips mainly today and they looked to be having fun.
