“Sugadaira Curry Festival” is being held now until Feb. 28 (Mon)! (*All menus are JPY500!) Sugadaira is very famous for the variety of curry because Mr. Kushmuradu, a Pakistani chef of Restaurant Wing, invites other chefs to come here. “Chicken Curry” is made from carefully selected spices and puree of onion simmered for over 3 hours. You can also make it more spicy with garam masala if you want. Of course, it comes with naan at JPY500!

At Chotto-ya, a petite restaurant owned by a couple near Hinode Area, you can enjoy “Curry Udon Noodle” (Photo) which is a winter special menu of rich flavor soup and tasty udon noodles. Home-made Croquette is also served together. Just JPY500 is enough for this set menu and pickles are included as well!

At Restaurant McKinley, you can choose from 2 special menus of Spicy Black Curry and Curry Ramen made by the owner chef who appeared on “Shinkon-san Irasshai! (Welcome, Newlyweds!)”, a Japanese TV show, last year. Plenty of vegetables and curly noodles which are 1.5 times as much as the usual menu are used in Curry Noodle.

Baked Curry Shop MEL’s is a well rated restaurant which has 4.6 points on google. Its rich simmered curry is made from bouillon of Japanese foods and it got an outstanding prize at Japan Curry Contest. It comes with salad and one of “Spicy Sauce”, “Fried Chicken” or “Drink” at JPY500!
