It was calmly sunny in Sugadaira Area. 2 people from Saitama Prefecture (Photo) said, “We always enjoy your reports! We are practicing for the competition at the end of this month. We will go back home today, but come here again and stay for days to ski harder.” By the way, “Mt. Neko Guide Tour by Snow Cat” started finally after two years yesterday!

The groomed slopes of Ura Taro Family West (Photo) and East across the lift were nicely firm. That good conditioned snow enabled us to make turns smoothly. In the bottom area, “Bluemoris JAPAN PRIDE 2021/2022”, a petite test-riding event of Bluemoris, is held until Jan. 10 (Mon).

Today’s secret spot was Taro Course (Photo) in Omote Taro Area. The beginning part was in a hard groomed condition with snowballs and the lower part was nicely firm and we could ski with high speed there. Especially, the middle part had a great view of Omatsu and Tsubakuro.

The hard groomed slope of Ura Taro Schi Heil was getting softer as more ski tracks were made on the slope. On the skier’s left, a ski instructor training lesson of Tokyo Ski Association was held today.
