-10 degrees of the temperature, a strong north wind with snowing, we had a typical wintry cold morning. The hood of Oku Davos No.1 Triple (Photo) greatly helped us to avoid the coldness today. However, this cold weather made the slopes so amazing and the groomed slopes of Oku Davos No.1 Beginner, Intermediate and Expert (Photo) were nicely soft and covered with 5cm fresh snow.

Although the thick cloud started to break up and the soft sunlight came through the clouds, it was still windy. The groomed slopes of Schneider Area (Photo) and Omote Davos East (Right on Photo) were also nicely firm and covered with 3-5cm fresh dry snow. There was 20cm deep snow on the sides of the courses.

4 people from Karuizawa Town in Nagano Prefecture said, “Sugadaira is in a good location to visit from our home, so we come here often in the winter season. The fresh snow is so fluffy today!” In the off-piste area of Omote Davos East, we could also enjoy 20-25cm fluffy snow as well.

In Mt. Omatsu SAJ Official Grand Prix Course (Photo), “Saitama Prefecture School Sport Competition” is held now. A participant said, “I am glad to finish the first run with my good time.” The groomed slopes of Rabbit, Friend and Go no Hara were nicely firm and in a good condition to ski with high speed.
