Nomugi Touge Ski Area is giving the special discounts of “Kiso Area Partner Discount” and “Mt. Norikura Snow Resort Partner Discount” now. You can buy an adult 1 day lift pass at JPY2,200, if you show the season ticket of the partner ski areas including Ontake 2240, Yabuhara, Mia, Kiso Fukushima and Mt. Norikura. It was very cold this morning and the temperature was -13 degrees due to the radiative cooling.

However, we did not feel so cold because there was the warm sunlight and no winds. The groomed slopes of Champion Course (Photo) and Rabbit Course were in good condition of nicely firm wet snow. Champion Course 2 was also nice, but it was very quiet there in the morning.

In Panorama Area which is located in the lower area, the upper groomed part was in wet snow condition and the bottom part was in wet and corn snow condition. The groomed slope of Jukai Course was nicely firm with wet snow and some parts in the shades were hard. I saw people enjoying the beautiful views while skiing there.

Tatemizu-no-saka (Photo), Family Area and Bambi Area were groomed well and in wet snow condition. We sometimes skied at too high speed on the hard slope of Tatemizu-no-saka (Photo). The detour course which had the width of a piste crawler was icy. Family Area and Bambi Area were nicely firm, so we could ski comfortably there.
