This winter, Nomugi-toge Ski Area was open on Dec. 19 (Sat) as scheduled and over 80% of the ski area got available on Jan. 6 (Wed). The groomed slope of Champion Course (Photo, Max 35°, Average 25°, 1,000m) was nicely firm and in good condition! I saw people skiing in both Champion and Rabbit Course (250m) again and again.

Panorama Area (Max 27°, Average 20°, 750m) had also a nicely firm groomed slope covered with 6cm fresh snow and we could make turns comfortably. The groomed slope of Tatemizu-no-saka (Photo, Max 28°, Average 25°, 450m) was very firm, but there was also about 6cm fresh snow on it and the new snow enabled us to curve more easily.

Today, I could see less people because the holidays finished and most of the guests went to Sky Rabbit (High Speed Pair, 1,060m), so the slope along Sky Liner (High Speed Pair, 1,600m) was like a private slope of mine. Family Area (Photo, Max 17°, Average 15°, 750m) was also nicely firm with 6cm fresh snow on it and my skies ran well there.

Next to the slope, there is Training Bahn (Max 27°, Average 18°, 600m) which is the best slope for practicing riding with No.1 Pair Lift. Bambi Area (Max 16°, Average 12°, 300m) was as good as Family Area. During I was staying at the ski area, it was keeping snowy and foggy lightly.
