“We check your reports regularly!  Lerch Course was great in the early morning! It was covered with about 30 cm of fresh light snow.”, one snowboarder coming from Ojiya City, Niigata Prefecture, and the other snowboarder coming from Tokamachi City, Niigata Prefecture said (pictured). It was snowy in the morning with the strong northeast wind.

Powder snow was groomed softly, blanketed with 3~5 cm of fresh snow in KUROHIME FAMILY PARK. “This is our first visit to KUROHIME. My children has enjoyed a sleigh ride on the wide slope, and then they’re taking a walk right now.”, a man coming with his children (pictured) said. (Wow, taking a walk in the snow is a good idea!”)

By the way, “the time of Myoko and Kurohime has come” from mid- to late January as the area has received heavy snow. In particular, KUROHIME received very light snow as it’s located inland far from the Japan Sea, at the southernmost of the area. The groomed powder snow was nicely soft, covered with 3~5 cm of fresh snow.

“I check your website regularly! I have Technical and Crown tests today! I’ll do my best!”, a skier who has exams said. “It’s difficult to ski on the rough and soft snow. There’re many ski/snowboard trails left”, an instructor at Kurohime Ski School said. In spite of bad snow conditions, all applicants were making a great slide.
