The sky was blue in the morning but it started to get cloudy and snowy around 8:30 am. “We check your website regularly. Our pictures weren’t posted last time. Please post this time!”, two families coming from Azumino city, Nagano prefecture, said.

The powder snow was firmly packed on Course 1-A (pictured), Kurosawa Slope (pictured in the first photo), and Kashima Slope (pictured in the fourth photo). I enjoyed carving turns, getting my skis on edges. The snow gradually got heavier.

The southwest wind kept blowing in the upper and middle area. The groomed snow was nice in the lower 1-A, blanketed with 1~2 cm of new snow. However, it was hard to ski on the ungroomed granular snow area, covered with 5~10 cm of new snow.

“I check your website regularly! I’m coming on a day trip with my nephew and niece. Glad we have a lot of snow of good quality this year!”, a skier coming from Kanagawa prefecture said (pictured right). The resort was crowded from the morning today. Skiers and snowboarders were already waiting in line for No.1 Quad and No.3 Quad around 9 am.
