Kashimayari / ◎275cm / Snowy2021.Jan.12

21011201_kashimayari“HAKUBA VALLEY is one of the best ski resorts because of the snow condition and amount! In Suwa Area, most of the ski areas make slopes with artificial snow, so the snow is much better here”, a family from Shimosuwa-machi in Nagano. By the way, the operation hours of the lifts on weekdays will be changed from today and they will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. until Feb. 7 (Sun).
[Course 1: Toomi Grand View C]

21011202_kashimayariThe snow which started to fall from the early morning was still falling weakly in Nakatsuna Beginners Area and thickly in Kurosawa (Photo) at 8:30 a.m. The groomed slope of Kurosawa was nicely firm and in amazing condition everyday! We could enjoy riding at high speed comfortably.

[Kurosawa]

21011203_kashimayariThe groomed slopes of Course1-B (Photo) and 1-C (First Photo) were firmer slightly than Kurosawa and in good condition as well. I saw a local skiing group practicing hard with poles in Course 1-B. The slope was not on private use, so anyone could also ski there.

[Course 1: Toomi Grand View B]

21011204_kashimayariBecause the holidays finished and the state of emergency has been declared, so the ski area was very quiet. In Course 1-A and Kashima area (Photo), the snow was also nice. We could enjoy cruising on those wide slopes.

[Course 3: Kashima]
