Kasimayari / ◎85cm / Cloudy2020.Jan.30
The snow got intense around 8:30 a.m. in the sunlight. The firmly compacted snow was excellent in Course 5-A. I saw many people carving big turns and going down fast.
[Course 5-A]
“I look forward to your reports”! I’ll stay for two nights in the car. I’ll snowboard in Kashimayari today and Hakuba47 tomorrow.”, a snowboarder from Mie prefecture said. Fine granular snow was compacted in Kurosawa Slope. I enjoyed carving turns in the soft snow.
[Kurosawa Slope: Course2]
The compacted snow was firm in the upper and middle parts of Course 1-A. Meanwhile, the surface snow was soft because of edges on the steep slope in the lower area. For your information, the lower part of Course1-C will be closed on Feb, 1 (Sat) and 2 (Sun) for competition. (※You can go down Course1-B instead.)
[Toomi Grand View A: Course1]
Kashima Slope started to get crowded with elementary school students taking ski lessons around 9:30 a.m. The compacted granular snow was moderately soft in Kashima. The snow was hard in the upper and middle parts, while it was loose in the lower part of Kashimayari, which was undulating.
