Kashimayari / ◎90cm / Sunny2020.Feb.04

20020401_kashimayariWe have a beautiful morning these three days. The northerly wind was blowing in the early morning, however, it calmed down around 9:30 a.m. I could see the blue sky as the clouds cleared up. Mt. Kashimayari looked white and impressive when I stopped.
[Course 2: Kurosawa Slope]
20020402_kashimayariThe snow was groomed hard in Kashimayari Slope. It was flat and in good condition. The groomed snow was firm in the upper part of Course 1-A and hard in the middle part. There were some hard snowballs on the steep slope in the lower part.
[Course 3: Kashimayari Slope]
20020403_kashimayari“We look forward to your report. We work at the same company. We’re all taking days off for snowboarding. We snowboarded in Hakuba Sanosaka on Saturday, Hakuba Cortina on Sunday, Sugadaira Kogen on Monday and Kashimayari today.”, five snowboarders from Shizuoka said. The groomed snow was softer and better in Kurosawa than in Kashima.
[Course 2: Kurosawa Slope]
20020404_kashimayariThe area around West Mt. was the best this morning, covered with about 1 cm of fresh snow. I enjoyed gaining speed in the firm powder snow in the top and middle parts. (※The snow was hard in the lower area.) Course 1-B and C was hard and undulating, which were also nice.
[Course 5-A]
