Kashimayari has been fully open today, blessed by the calm weather! No.2 Pair, No.3 Quad, and No.6 Quad Lift for transportation from Nakatsuna Parking Area have started working and 2 slopes, including Kurosawa and Kashima, have become available.

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, which signaled the opening, was held at 8:05 am in Kurosawa Slope. People, including visitors, gathered at the top of Kurosawa, riding on 2nd Pair Lift, which started working at 7:55 am. As they stood in a line in front of the ribbon and started skiing down at a starting call of a staff, lots of tracks were left on the compacted slope in a short while.

The slope was nicely soft and in great condition. I was able to enjoy carving. Although it was the first day, the slope was filled with not only intermediate and advanced skiers but also beginners and children.

As No.3 Quad started working at 8:30, Kashima Slope became available. Kashima is good for practice, having a wide gentle slope with an inclination of 17° at maximum and 13° on average. There were 4m-pvc pipe, 2 way 6m Tankan W rail, 4m-narrow box, and 5m-wide box were arranged along 3rd quad from the top.
