The snow had fallen for a long time until yesterday, but in this morning, we could see the beautiful blue sky. Because of the radiational cooling, it was really cold amd the temperature was -10 degrees. The wind didn’t blow, so it was a good day to ski and snowboard! When I walked on the groom slope, I found the snow was properly tight, and it made me really excited.

The snow on Panorama, the upper part of Route 8 and the upper part of Route 1 was completely groomed. The snow was properly tight there and it was in good condition to ski. The edge bit the snow well, and we could take both wide and tight turns .

“We always see your website!” The instructors of HAKUBA47 Snowboard School and Hakuba47 Ski Academy (officially endorsed by JSBA) talked to us. “ Today is amazing!” As their smile indicated, we could ski comfortably and fast on the flat and properly tight slopes of Route 4, 5, and 6.

The powder snow was properly tight and the entire areas were groomed well at the gentle slope of Rindo (inter-forest) Course and Route 7. Only the snow at the bottom part of Route 1 was stiff because of artificial snow. At last, Toomi No1 Pair starts the operation tomorrow! On the day after tomorrow, Dec 17 (Sun), it holds Children’s Day, the first time it this season! (Lift tickets are free for children of elementary age and younger.)
