“2021-2022 Iwatake Thanks Festival” was held on Mar.5 (Sat). We had different venues for the lottery, the pastry gift event (by CHAVATY HAKUBA and THE CITY BAKERY), and the live music performance in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The live music performance was held in front of Gondola Sanroku Station (pictured), instead of in the top area, due to strong wind.

There were about 1,000 prizes prepared in the lottery, including season tickets for the next season and skis. “I’m looking forward to your reports! I often visit the Hakuba area. My family members won a Gondola round-trip ticket during the green season, a voucher at a snowboard school, and two fabric bags.”, a lady coming from Chiba Prefecture with her family members said.

Mr. Moi (pictured right) sang his original songs and cover songs originally released by Yumi Arai, Remioromen, etc. in the live performance. It was lunchtime, and I saw people enjoying hamburgers and beers, listening to his music. At the top area, marshmallows made by THE CITY BAKRY or scones made by CHAVATY HAKUBA were distributed to a total of 400 visitors.

“Champagne Bar” opened in Skyark on Mar.5 and 6. We were able to enjoy four kinds of Champagne by de Vonoge, which was established in 1837, including “Blancs Extra Brut NV” (pictured left). (※JPY700~ for 1 cup) The “Champagne Bar” is planned to open on Mar.19 (Sat) and 20 (Sun), too.
