Hakuba Iwatake / △20cm / Sleet2021.Dec.17
Hakuba Iwatake Snow Field was pre-opened with 1 course of East Area on Dec. 17 (Fri) as scheduled (Officially open tomorrow). It got cold temporarily due to the low air pressure moving to the east on the Japan Sea, so it was sleeting on the summit area of Iwatake, though it was raining in the village area.

The groomed slope of East (Photo) was smooth and soft with the 1cm silky fresh snow. There were some bushes exposed on the sides of the course. When the sleet changed into the snow at around 9:00 a.m, the slope got crowded with people.
