19031701_iwatakeFrom 10 a.m., “Ladies only, Joy Camp Vol.2 Ground Tricks Introduction Camp” , hosted by Iwatake Snowboard School was held. Five ladies from Kanagawa and Tokyo had participated the event and they are learning the ground tricks with fun. The instructors were Mr. Yuta Kato and Ms. Miho Waki.

19031702_iwatakeFirst of all, they learned basic actions such as nollie, ollie and penguin walk at in front of Sky Arc (photo). After that they went to South and learned drive spin, tail press and reverse turns.

19031703_iwatakeWet snow has started to fall from 10:30 a.m., and snowflakes were began to become large as time passed. The corn snow was groomed hard at South but surface was shaved and with new snow, snow surface became soft.

19031704_iwatakeToday was “Ski Children’s Day” and 1-day ticket for under 12 y/o was free. I saw many families and they were enjoying sliding. The spring season discount will start from tomorrow and 1-day ticket for adult & senior (50–69 y/o)will be JPY3200, child & high-senior (over 70 y/o) will be JPY1600.
