Hakuba Iwatake / ○160cm / Snowy & Cloudy2019.Mar.16

19031601_iwatakeThere moving low pressure above the main island of Japan, and the snow flitted with weak north wind. DC PARK had been remade Mar. 11th (Mon.)~12th (Tue.) and it opened 13th (Wed.)! There are 15 items, including T-BOX, Trapezoid BOX (photo), Downrale, 6m kicker and 8m kicker.

19031602_iwatakeThey were crowded moderately, so you could enjoy every item without waiting. Beginners and intermediates were sliding on the lower items, such as BOXes 4m kicker and 5m kicker, on the other hand, advanced skiers were enjoying 6m kicker (photo) and turning somersaults.

19031603_iwatakeThere are rare items like corner rails (photo). By the way, it was so nice to slide down on the wet and compacted snow in North Slope and VIEW C & D. But there were soft granular snow at the end of VIEW C & D.

19031604_iwatakeSouth Slope and Descending Course were compacted well and it was good condition with shaved snow. There were granular snow in Sunny Valley Course and at the bottom of Paradise Slope. Sometimes we found some ground area but it was no trouble to slide down.
