Hakuba Iwatake / ◎200cm / Cloudy2019.Feb.01

19020101_iwatakeThe snow flitted at the bottom of the slope, on the other hand, it.snowed heavily at the top with a strong wind around 7 a.m. There was about 20cm fresh snow in HIKAGE A. There were wind patterns on the snow and we could enjoy sliding down with floating feelings on the powder snow.
[HIKAGE A]
19020102_iwatakeWe should skate or take off our boards to the starting line of HIKAGE A and B, so the first tracks are more behind than in other courses. On the other hand, SONEZAWA, the other side of Sawa Course, there were some skiers and snowboarders and filled with their tracks for only 30 min.
[HIKAGE A]
19020103_iwatakeThe area from the top of Iwatake to the last part of Gezan Course was covered with thick fog. There was a long flat condition in South Slope and Descending Course with the wide goomed snow, so it was good to slide down.
[Descending Course]
19020104_iwatakeIt stopped snowing and we could see some blue sky around 10 a.m. in Village Side. The members of Edelweiss skiing club of Kokushikan University were training for ‘Student Skii Competition IWATAKE’ in Upburn. By the way, we are going to hold ‘ Iwatake Thanksgiving’ at the parking area at the side of Gondola Sanroku Station from 10a.m. on Feb. 2nd(Sat.).
