The heavy rain from yesterday became weak after the opening in this morning. Gondola was not operating because of the strong wind at the upper part. Only Paradise Triple and Kamo 1 started the operation on time at 8 a.m.
[Sunny Valley Course]
The last part of Sunny Valley Course and Paradise were groomed finely and firm corn snow. The edge bit the snow well so I could ski comfortably.

After 9 a.m., people gradually increased and the rain started to change into sleet. The upper part of Paradise, Kometsuga, Two Top Course and Kamoshika Course is in preparation for the students competition (Alpen Ski Division) which will be held from March 11th.

The shop at 1st floor of Gondola base station offers lots of souvenirs and items for skiing and snowboarding. Further, HAKUBA VALLEY original t-shirts and caps and also rain wears are available.
