The snow, which began to fall last night, had already stopped around 9 a.m. and I saw only thick clouds above the slope. Today, Snow Drive Test-ride and cruising tour will be held at Gondola Sanroku Station. The party of four from Nagano City, who had already signed up the workshop, headed for Paradise Slope for the test-ride .
[Paradise Slope]
Everyone, including small children, can enjoy Snow Drive safely, after practicing about 30 minutes. Cruising Tour is going to be held from 11 a.m. in the morning and 2 p.m. in the afternoon. Staffs will navigate at each course, according to your level.
[Paradaise Slope]
Trees from the top to the upper part of Sunny Valley Course were covered with rime. It cooled down, however, the wind was gentle and I didn’t feel so chilly. Every slope was crowded as it was Saturday. Skiers and snowboarders disappeared into the fog one after another.
[South Slope]
The granular snow and new snow were mixed and groomed together at South and Gezan Course. It didn’t get rough yet at 10 a.m. and it was nice condition to ski. There was soft dry granular snow at both Sunny Valley Course and Paradise Slope. The skis ran well and I could ski comfortably.
