Iwatake/ ◎190cm / Snowy2018.Mar.08

18030801_iwatakeAs of 10:00 a.m, the wet snow fell at the upper of the Snow Field. Although VIEW C was groomed, the snow was hard and there were some icy areas. But the slope was flat and not rough, so it was not bad condition to ski.

18030802_iwatake“Hi! Snownavi! It’s snowing heavily. But we are lucky for not having rain.” a group of 6 people said to me. On the contrary to VIEW areas, which are surrounded by trees, the wind blew strongly at Gezan. As time passed, the snow got harder and the fog got thicker sometimes.

18030803_iwatakeThe corn snow was groomed firm and in good condition at Gezan. The edges of skis were working well and I could make turns comfortably. As I skied down to the summit station of Chuo Kousoku, the visibility got better and the wind became weak.

18030804_iwatakeThe upper part of White Ribbon the snow was groomed roughly, the last part wasn’t groomed. The fresh snow covered the firm corn snow, so it was not bad condition to ski. Sleet was falling at Paradise and the skis were not running.
