Iwatake/ ◎200cm / Rainy2018.Mar.05
It was raining heavily from early morning. The visitors came extremely late and a few people started to ski from 8:45 a.m.. Even in such a condition, people from Shizuoka Pref. took poses cheerfully.
[South]
Flatly groomed Gezan Course and South were nicely firm corn snow. The ski ran fast because of rain and the edge bit the snow well, so the ski slope was in good condition. But the fog was thick, so I had to ski slowly.
[Gezan Course]
The visibility was good when I skied down to Sunny Valley Course. The slope was groomed finely and at the beginning of the course was nicely firm. The snow got softer as I skied down, so I could ski fast.
[Sunny Valley Course]
Paradise was nicely soft corn snow. If I have some equipment against the rain, I could ski comfortably from the summit to the bottom. I recommend to use gondola to avoid the rain. Yesterday it was extremely warm, therefore some mud parts were exposed at the beginning of the Paradise.
