Iwatake/ ◎210cm / Sunny2018.Mar.04
We only have one month until April 1st, the last day of this season. There is still as much amount of snow as the same day in last year. It was warm, sunny and windless morning.
[South]
South and Gezan Course were groomed finely and firm. But the edge bit the snow pretty good so that I could ski fast. Many people were not wearing jackets much like yesterday.
[Gezan Course]
As I skied down to the bottom area, the snow became softer. The beginning of Summy Valley was soft. On the other hand, the beginning of Kometsuga Course which is located a bit lower level than Sunny Valley and facing north was in good condition with moderately firm snow. I thought that it will be nice using Kamo 1 because the lift was not crowded after the student competition ended.
[Kometsuga]
The snow on Paradise was Spring-like soft corn snow. Bumps on the upper level were big and I found the ground was coming out of the snow on some area. Overall there is still enough snow on the ski area. Probably you can enjoy skiing and snowboarding till the last day of this season.
