It was snowing this morning again because of the cold wave, however, it got lighter than in the last night. It was very cold, -6.6 degrees, and the trees were frosted in the upper area. A weak wind was blowing and the soft sunlight was cast sometimes.

The amount of the fresh snow was about 20cm deep in Kamo 4 and DANGAN. At the depth points where the snow fallen yesterday remained as it was, the snow almost reached my knees. By the way, the condition of DANGAN was …

The slope of DANGAN was covered with big bumps, but they were not hard thanks to the fresh snow, so it was in good condition to try. DANGAN has the maximum degrees of 35 and average degrees of 27 and changed into a really exciting course after snowing. There were various natural items of landscape, such as banks and kickers, so there were snowboarders as well as skiers.

Although we had a rain on Jan. 8 (Mon), the condition of the groomed slopes got much better thanks to this heavy snowfall. The slopes of South and Gezan Course were nicely firm and flat. The skier’s left of White Ribbon Course was groomed and firm, the other side was not groomed and had 15－20cm deep fresh snow.
