Iwatake/ ◎160cm / Snowy2018.Jan.10
It had been snowing strongly since last evening and in this morning the it was still snowing. The ski tracks were covered with the fresh snow. The couple from Chigasaki city, Kanagawa talked happily to us, “We haven’t been to Iwatake for ages. How wonderful the snow is!”
[VIEW B]
The slope was crowded because many people expected for the powdery snow in spite of a weekday on January. Many of them went to VIEW α at Tree-run Course. There were many ski tracks on 30cm of the fresh snow, but the snow was so soft that we felt floating for a long time.
[VIEW α]
Few people came to VIEW B because there were irregular and deep bumps. I saw many beginners and intermediate players at VIEW C and D. There were many advanced players trying to go to Dangan and foreigners who want powdery snow at Kamo 4.
[VIEW C]
Although the visibility was so bad that it was snowing heavily, it was clear to know the direction to the down-course thanks to the lightings at the station of Central High-speed Lift. The slope was soft but rugged with pushed snow at South and Gezan, but it didn’t disturb our skiing.
