It stopped snowing and the blue sky came out of the clouds around 10:00 a.m. “We always enjoy your reports!”, said a couple came from Tokyo. It was one of the most comfortable day in the past few days with the warm sunlight and no winds.

2 cm fresh snow piled up on soft and flat grounds which were groomed well at Gezan Course and South. Corduroy patterns were already gone at around 10:00 a.m. but the fresh snow still remained in good conditions. So I could make turns comfortably.

At Sunny Valley Course which was beautifully groomed, the snow was moderately firm and in a good condition. Some snowboarders were playing with wall made of snow and some were jumping over bumps and taking gondola many times.

Kamoshika Racing Course was groomed at intervals of two grooming cars. Although the slope was hard, my board fairly bit the snow. By the way, “MIGHTY CROWN MUSIC CHARGE in HAKUBA IWATAKE Presented By SPICY (an entrance fee: JPY3,000 18:00-22:00” will be held at White Plaza on Feb. 3 (Sat). You can listen to the dance music from the famous reggae artist, Mighty Crown.
