Iwatake/ ◎160cm / Sunny & Cloudy2018.Jan.09

18010901_iwatakeIt had been warm since last afternoon, and it was raining until last night at Snow field. In this morning, the gondola and the upper lifts stopped because of the strong wind. I took Paradise Triple which started first, and skied down well-groomed Sunny Valley Course.
[Sunny Valley Course]
18010902_iwatakeThere were extremely few visitors because today was the first weekday after the three consecutive holidays, and it was announced that it should be rainy. To my surprise, more foreigners came than Japanese. I felt as if I tried spring-ski overseas because it was warm.
[Paradise]
18010903_iwatakeIt was in good condition to ski at the groomed slope with moisture. The skis were running well. On the other hand, it was hard to ski at the non-groomed area at the upper part of Paradise, where the skis were not running by snow.
[Paradise]
18010904_iwatakeI took Kamo 1 (903m) and went down from Kometsuga to Sunny Valley. I enjoyed skiing fast on the long and gentle slope. Some areas that had little snow and mud was mixed with snow, such as Big bahn, Two top, and Kamoshika Racing.
