Iwatake/ ◎170cm / Snowy2018.Jan.08

18010801_iwatakeIt was cloudy at the bottom area around 9:30 a.m. but it was snowing heavily at the upper area. The snow started to fall for not that long so there was not much of new snow. The visitors from Chiba Pref., Saitama Pref. and Fukushima Pref. gave me the watchwords.
[South]
18010802_iwatakeWell groomed slope of VIEW D was moderately firm and I could make turn as I imagined. VIEW D was not crowded compare to other areas so the fresh slope remained for long time.

18010803_iwatakeSunny Valley Course was crowded with people who was taking the gondola, so the slope got a little rough but it didn’t disturb the skiing that much. At around 11 a.m. snow was started to fall heavily at the bottom. The temperature was high so the snow was little wet.

18010804_iwatakeSouth and Gezan were also got rough but I could ski comfortably. The boys from Shizuoka Pref. gave me the watchword and said, “Please take the pictures of us!” Father in yellow jackets said, “We visit Iwatake at least once in two weeks.”
