Iwatake/ △100cm / Snowy 2017.Dec.26
The snow began to fall from the early morning and got heavy around 9:00 a.m. At the summit of Iwatake it snowed very heavily without the wind. 2 members in Rondor Ski Club of Meiji University talked to us, “Hi! Snownavi! We finally met you!” At VIEW C, 10-15cm of fresh snow was on the firm foundation and it was in good condition to ski.
[VIEW C]
About 10cm of the fresh snow was on the flat slope entirely at East. After 10:00 a.m., the slope become rough, but I wasn’t bothered because the snow was light and soft. There were 20cm of the fresh snow on the non-groomed area at the sides of the course.
[East]
From the middle part of South to Gezan, it was foggy and the visibility was bad. In addition, near the Central High-Speed Lift Station, the wind blew. The slopes at both South and Gezan were flat and it was in good condition to ski.
[Gezan]
The foundation of Sunny Valley Course was hard but the fresh snow was soft and we could ski comfortably. Bushes and small stones didn’t bother skiing. Before noon, the snow has still fallen heavily even at the bottom of the slope.
