The snow fell weakly from the early morning to around 8:00 a.m. About 5cm of the fresh snow was on the upper part of the ski area and about 3cm of the fresh snow was on the bottom part. East area was groomed early, so 4-5cm of the fresh snow piled up on the flat and wide slope.

Yesterday, it was warm during the daytime and the surface of the snow melted, so it was harden in the early morning. Widely groomed South was hard. However, 2-3cm of the fresh snow was soft, so I could ski comfortably.

It stopped snowing before 9:00 a.m. and the sun was shining weakly at the upper part of the snowfield. In spite of Saturday, there were few people at East in this morning. The instructor of the Hakuba Iwatake Snowboard School was practicing snowboarding beautifully.

I skied down from Gezan to Sunny Valley and Paradise. The snowfall was not enough in Sunny Valley Course. We found there were a few small stones at the middle part. The slope of Paradise was covered with the artificial snow and from today, Paradise Triple started the operation.
