The snow from the day before yesterday had been falling until this morning. On the summit area of Iwatake, it was foggy sometimes and the visibility got white. The slope of South was covered with fresh powdery snow and I found a part of it was groomed.

As a staff said, Iwatake had 25cm deep snow from the last evening. The total amount of the snow reached 50cm in South and 60cm in East and South. The snow was very fluffy and I would like to ski there soon.

In the beginning part of North, no bushes were exposed. At around 9:00 a.m, a piste crawler came and moved to VIEW D.

The slope of East was also started to be groomed. By the way, thanks to this heavy snowfall, Hakuba Iwatake Snow Field would be open on Dec. 8 (Fri), a week earlier than schedule.
