It was snowing lightly with a wind just after the ski area was open and the peaks of Northern Alps were covered with clouds. The whole slope of South was groomed well and nicely firm. There was thin snow on the run, but the beautiful corduroy patterns were not hidden.

I did not care about the wind in the ski area, but the clouds in the sky was moving fast and the sunlight was cast and blocked off again and again. People started to ride slowly, so I could enjoy the wide fresh slope alone in the early morning. By the way, VIEW A－D were not open because the slopes were too hard to ski and snowboard.

I met a staff of “Patagonia Hakuba / Outlet” and his friends. The shop has started the rental program of Cloud Ridge Jacket & Pants. You can try the newest model for spring skiing and mountaineering for free.
[Gezan Course]
In the groomed slopes of Village Side, the snow was slushy and the damp corn snow made me slow down. Today, Super Giant Slalom Division of Student Ski Competition held and the participants were going down with high speed, in spite of such snow.
