Today, Mar.14(Tue) is White Day! …So, “Love Story in the Snow on White Day 2017 TAKEKO Flag Treasure Hunt Game” is being held. If a couple find a flag hidden in the slope and bring them to Information Counter in Gondola Base Station, they can get a nice free gift. A group, who gave me the watchword, “We always enjoy your reports.” was also getting flags at once.

Mountain-side was covered with thick fog. My visibility became completely white in South, East and Gezan Course. Every groomed slopes were nicely firm and covered with thin & dry fresh snow and I could ski comfortably. The trees whitened with frost and shrouded in the fog were looked marvelous.

As I skied down to the junction of Sunny Valley Course and White Ribbon Course, visibility became better. Some places of Sunny Valley Course were firm, however, the course was flat and nicely firm on the whole. Since there was no wind and it was not so chilly, I felt warm when I skied down without stopping.

The snow was melted and in soft condition at Paradise and by4. Who got TAKEKO flag beside Gondola Base Station were two members of Ski Club of Komazawa University. They said they came to cheer up their friends who would join in the Students Competition. In today’s competition, Men’s downhill skiing and Female rookies’ skiing are held today.
