The sky was covered with the thick clouds and it was snowing from this morning. Today was a weekend, so the slopes were very crowded with people and the parking areas were already full. Gezan Course was flat and nicely firm, much better than the hard run yesterday.

VIEW D was also flat but hard and icy. Though the ungroomed areas on the sides were covered with 3cm fresh snow, the slopes were very hard and bumpy. Especially, VIEW B was covered with icy bumps, so there was regulation.

As I skied down to Village Side, the groomed slopes got better and nicely firm. Today, I found many student skiers such as a group from a ski club of Waseda University. By the way, “The 44th Student Skiing Competition Iwatake (Demo Skiing)” will start tomorrow!!

After 11:00 a.m, the sun began to cast the sunlight and the temperature got higher gradually. The snow was also getting melting in Paradise, so the slopes were a little rough. It was in a little difficult condition for kids and beginners, but experts were riding smoothly.
