Iwatake / ◎165cm / Cloudy & Snowy2017.Feb.05

17020501_iwatakeThe clouds which came up in this morning got thicker gradually and it started to snow after a while. Today was a weekend, so the mountain-foot station of the gondola had a long line and the parking areas were almost full already at around 9:50 a.m. IWATAKE LOVE SNOW PARK was also crowded and people tried the items one after another.

17020502_iwatakeIn the upper gentle slope, there are Wave、T-Box 6m、Transfer Rail 4m、Down Rail 8m、Narrow Box 7m、Hip、Rail 5m、Donkey Rail 6m. The lower part has Kicker 3m×2、Kicker 7m、Kicker 10m、Hill Bank、Curve Box 5m. I was impressed by the skillful jumps and tricks of experts again and again.

17020503_iwatakeAlthough there were many ski tracks on the slopes of Gezan Course and South, they remained flat and nicely firm, so we could ski comfortably there. The runs got harder and harder as I skied down, and Sunny Valley Course had some icy part. However, the almost slope was nicely firm and in good condition.

17020504_iwatakeThe slopes of Up Bahn and Big Bahn were hard and I heard the sound of skis scratching the icy part. It started to snow more heavily at around 11:00 a.m. The visibility was still good because we had no wind and fog, but the sunlight was blocked off, so I felt much colder than the actual temperature.
