“Iwatake Thanks-giving Festival 2017”, a splendid banquet event, was held at 10:00 a.m. There were many booths and especially, Lottery for buyer of lift tickets was very crowded. As the premiums, OGASAKA Skis, SALOMON backpacks, Iwatake Season Pass for the next season and Accommodation Tickets were presented.

Iwatake Pork Soup, local sake, amazake, beer, drinks and snacks were treated. At the booth of Itoigawa City in Niigata Pref, Nanban Shrimp Soup was treated and it got over soon. “Maitekal”, an agriculture company, offered Mochi-tsuki Event and I found people from abroad enjoying making rice cakes.

Even though now is in the mid-winter, Garigari-kun (ice bar) is still delicious. 2 families from Kanagawa Pref. took photos with mascot characters. “Murao the 3rd” came as well and posed with people.

By the way, today is an ideal day for skiing and snowboarding! The groomed slopes of South, Gezan Course, Sawa Course and VIEW C were nicely firm and the lower areas, such as Sunny Valley and Paradise were also in good condition.
