Iwatake / ○130cm / Snowy2017.Jan.14
It was lucky for us to have snow on weekend! Three out of four from Tokyo, Saitama and Kanagawa was coming to Iwatake for the “first” time. They said, “We’re very excited!” to me, so I felt really happy before interview. (haha)
[Gezan Course]
The area from Gezan Course and South Slope was nicely soft, so I could enjoy making turning. Thanks to the heavy snowfall, White Ribbon Course which is non-compacted has opened today! The snow under the 20cm of fresh snow was soft and the course sloped gently and steeply. I really enjoyed.

The snow had been falling heavily around 11:00 am. Sometimes, a gust of wind stirred up the snow on the slope and visibility became so bad that I hesitated to ski. Because of the wind, Gondola at 11:40 am, No.5 Line South at 12:50 pm stopped working.

Middle area of Village-side and upper area of Kometuga Course have also opened and, Kamo-1-Lifts (902m) started working. There were some long bushes on Sunny Valley Course, however, it was flat and good to ski on the whole.
